Dr. Randy Prezzano is originally from a small town in the rural Hudson River valley region of New York.  In 1991, Dr. Randy moved to Florida and attended theUniversity of Florida where he pursued his degree in Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Randy received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the  â€‹University of Florida in May 2000.  Dr. Randy's career as a practicing veterinarian led him first to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and then to Ocala, Florida where he remained in practice for 10 years.  Four of those years were spent as a partner in a large veterinary hospital.  Dr. Randy began his career in veterinary medicine more than 23 years ago when he became a kennel assistant in high school and now he has been led to practice ownership here in Dacula.

Dr. Randy and his wife, Dr. Destiny, have a beautiful daughter and adorable twin boys. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Randy's interests include fishing, hiking, gardening, and relaxing with his family.

Dr. Destiny Prezzano graduated cum laude in 2005 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She began practicing as a veterinarian along with her husband, Dr. Randy Prezzano, in a large, progressive companion animal hospital in Ocala, Florida. Dr. Destiny has a strong passion for veterinary medicine that began at age 16 when she served as a kennel assistant. She went on to serve in the veterinary profession as a kennel manager, receptionist, general technician and intensive care unit technician prior to becoming a veterinarian.

Dr. Destiny's time away from the hospital is spent with her three children, a daughter and twin boys. Dr. Destiny grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania and enjoys many of the winter sports, especially figure skating. She also enjoys hiking, scrapbooking, and cooking.

Dr. Jennifer Winsor Coval serves as an associate doctor at Apalachee River Animal Hospital.  She is a 2001 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She also attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Dr. Coval joined our staff in October 2003 as a full-time associate.

Dr. Coval resides in Grayson, Georgia where she shares her  home with her husband Mark, her son & daughter, her cats; Ariel, Addison, and Frankie; and her dog Poppy.

Dr. Jessica Bremer is a native of  Atlanta, completing both her B.S. degree in Animal Science & her DVM degree at the University of Georgia, with honors both times. Becoming a veterinarian had been her dream since the age of six. Dr. Bremer started working in the veterinary field as a kennel assistant in 2007, eventually becoming a veterinary assistant until starting vet school in 2010. Dr. Bremer loves the diversity of general practice, but has a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery & client education.

Outside of work she & her husband Ryan like spending time outdoors camping, hiking and kayaking.  They share their home with their 2 dogs Logan and Little Squirrel, and Baby Cat, who is aptly named because he showed up at their home as a feral kitten and picked them to be his parents.

The rest of our team includes:

Deborah Caldwell - Practice Manager

I am a native of Louisiana but have lived here in the Atlanta area for over 25 years. My focus has been on animals my whole life, growing up on a small farm with the usual menagerie-horses, cattle, chickens, pigs, and of course dogs and cats, with the occasional turtle or frog as well. Early on I knew I wanted to work in veterinary medicine, and did get a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. After that I moved to the Atlanta area and since then have worked in veterinary clinics first as a veterinary assistant and then after acquiring my RVT as a veterinary technician. I have a husband named Elliot who shares my passion for animals—and we have 2 dogs of our own—Althea is a medium sized mix and Jackson is a border collie. Both are very smart so you have to be on your toes with them! In our spare time we enjoy hiking and camping with our dogs. I do so enjoy working here at Apalachee River Animal Hospital with such an outstanding group of veterinary professionals that share my passion for excellence in medicine and caring for all animals and their people.

Josette Greider - Administrative Assistant

"My husband Jacob and I have 7 animals. Five cats (Mac, Marley, Mila, Stevie, and Poe) and two pitties (Gryffindor and Ravenclaw). All of which are spoiled rotten. I started working at ARAH in August of 2012. Even after all this time, I still enjoy coming into work every single day because I absolutely love what I do! Our doctors & staff genuinely care about each patient that walks in the door. Their passion definitely shows in their work, and with the lives they touch."

Veronica Pietras - Veterinary Assistant, Nutritional Consultant

I grew up in NJ, and moved to Georgia 4 years ago from Florida with my husband, our dog Oakley, and cat Sterling. I briefly strayed from the field of veterinary medicine twice, but my heart always led me back to the profession I love. I have a special interest in feline medicine but also cannot resist the unconditional love of a dog. In my free time I go camping with my husband & dog, Oakley. Sterling prefers staying at home and cuddling up with me & a good book

Theresa Brantly - Veterinary Assistant

Theresa has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years, working as a Veterinary Technician in every capacity, from emergency medicine, specialty & alternative medicine, and small animal medicine.  Theresa is also competes with her dogs on a world class professional level in Agility, Disc Dog, and Dock Dog events. She shares her home with her SEVEN dogs and husband Kevin.

Brandi Wilson - Registered Veterinary Technician

Brandi joined our team in the spring of 2016.
Growing up I've always had a love for animals.  I entered the veterinary field in 2008. I then decided to take my careeer to the next level & received my degree & became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2013.  The following summer my husband Ryan, our cat Carl & I moved from Wisconsin to Georgia. I am beyond thrilled that ARAH & I found each other; I couldn't ask for a better hospital to work for or a better staff to be a part of. Most of my time is dedicated to my work & animals, but when I do have free time my husband Ryan & I enjoy grilling & entertaining friends. This is Carls favorite activity too because he LOVES attention & insists on sitting in anyone's lap that will pet or feed him!

I have been working in the veterinary field for the past 4 years, 3 years in animal shelter work and one year at a veterinary practice in Mississippi.  After working as an EMT for 3 years I decided that working with animals was my passion, and have never looked back! I have 3 dogs; Lula, and 8 year old Rat Terrier mix, Hallie, a 4 year old Cocker Spaniel mix, and Bogart, my 3 year old Chihuahua.

Reagan Reese - Technician Assistant

Beginning my veterinary science career working alongside the Apalachee team is an amazing experience.  Currently I have two rescue dogs, Wilbur & Mela.  In my free time I enjoy camping, hiking, swimming and volunteering for the Georgia SPCA.  I hope to continue with the career I love in animal science.

I was born and raised right here in the Dacula area. I reside in Winder with my loving husband, and our two beautiful children (10 year-old son and 4 year-old daughter). We have two dogs Roxy and Odin. I have been in this industry since 2006, and I have an extreme love for animals. I have been at ARAH since June 2008, and in my experience, I have never worked for a more exceptional, compassionate, or thorough group of doctors and staff. I couldn’t ask for a better job, and I look forward to many more years serving the Dacula area.

Mickey Nuzzo - Customer Care Representative

After 29 years as a veterinary receptionist it still surprises me how much I love what I do. I started as a part time receptionist in 1985 at a large animal hospital in New Jersey. After 18 years we decided to move to Florida where I continued in this field for another 10 years. Just recently we moved to Georgia to be near family and that is what brought me to ARAH. As a new team member to this exceptional animal hospital I look forward to many more years working at a job I love coming to everyday.
